Emily Alice grew up in a mock Gothic castle in Cornwall and began writing ghost stories at an early age. In 2004 she published the short story Vulpes Vulpes, a dark and seductive tale illustrated by her mother.
The Ice Room is her first full length novel and expands upon the magic realism and gothic themes of her previous work.
A talented soprano, Emily is a member of best selling classical act Mediaeval Baebes. As part of this exotic and alluring ensemble, she has travelled extensively throughout the world, singing, dancing and composing. Emily is also a composer and vocalist in the Cornish classical act Celtic Legend and was fronting the Gothic power metal band PYTHIA but is now working with Khronicles.
Emily currently resides in east London, delighting in wantonness, excess and fantasy.
